Swimming & Diving: 12 Germantown Academy Swimmers Named NISCA All-Americans

FORT WASHINGTON -- The National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association (NISCA) recently published its All-America lists for the 2021-22 season. Germantown Academy was well represented on the lists, with 12 different student-athletes claiming All-American honors in a total of 16 events. To earn a spot on these lists, a swimmer must be among the top 100 times in the country for an event. 

Landon D'Ariano '24 landed in the top 15 in the 500 Freestyle (14th) and 20th in the 200 Individual Medley. Henry Morrissey '22 was 20th in the 500 Freestyle. The 400 Freestyle Relay teams for the boys and the girls finished in the top 20. The GA varsity boys and girls swim teams are led by Jeff Thompson.
